The Honorable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Hajia Sadiya Farouq has confirmed that some of the beneficiaries will get a sum of three hundred thousand naira each as an exit package while few will be absorbed into the Federal Civil Service.
Also, according to the information gotten from media, the disbursement was supposed to have commenced by February 10, but there was little delay due to inability of some beneficiaries to complete an update of their information on the NEXIT portal.
As a matter of fact, the source reiterated that a total of Seventy-Five billion naira has been set aside by the presidency as exit package grant for Npower volunteers.
The end of February has been set as the deadline for the disbursement of the loan. Also, the names of successful of batch C candidates will be released as soon as the disbursement of the loan is completed.
The federal ministry of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development is also still making plans and arrangements with other sectors for the betterment exited beneficiaries .
These exit package disbursement will only be giving to active Npower volunteers .
The exited Npower beneficiaries batch A and B should have patience because arrangements are still on going .
Exited beneficiaries should note that they are not allowed to pay any money to anybody or organization for these empowerment program .
